Finally

Well it is real to me now. My fall 2008 semester is over. All of my grades have been posted. So I can say that I am proud of myself this semester. I got (2) A- and (1) B+. But I wanted to let everyone know that I can say that I can put fall 2008 behind me. And have a relaxing break from school.

Update:
Not only has my break been full of watching for my final grades posted. But I have wrapped many presents for my mom. I have organized my mom's kitchen, ran errands for my mom and started to read a novel that I will have to read for one of my classes next semester. I am getting excited to go to Hawaii but it has not became real to me yet because I still have a million of things that I am doing before I go. So when I get a least half of the million things done then I can really consentrate on getting ready for Hawaii. The million things that I have to get done are small things. So I will get them done. By Monday I will have the majority of the things off my list. I hope all is well with those who read this and you are getting ready for Christmas. We only have 9ish days left. I also want to wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! I will try and do at least one more blog before I leave for Hawaii since my family is doing our Christmas this Sunday so we don't have to take all our gifts with us. I hope to see and hear about all your wonderful holiday season. And stay safe as well!!!

Gifts

Friday night Natalie came over and we exchanged gifts.

Then today my roommates and I exchanged gifts. I got a movie from Meg, a nice card from Hayley, and a classical fairy tales book from Nikki. I love all my gifts. Thanks everyone.

Solo?

So many of you probably already read my mom's blog and know that on Wednesday I sang a solo. The song was "Promise Savior, Promise Redeemer." My family came and surprised me. I was so shocked that I may have messed up a few times. However, I had many people that came up to me and said "You did great!" Well I am sure I did good, I don't know about great. However, I do know that I feel good about having a life goal off my list. I have had on my list to sing a solo in front more than 20 people. and now I can take that off my list to do. These are just some photos that were taken that day.

My roommates had a tree so they put it up and then I got little stockings for each of use. We are going to exchange gifts this Sunday. We are so excited. But is everyone ready for Christmas. I sure am. For the most part all I have to do is wrap the gifts for people. But I do have 2 more gifts to buy. But then I am done buying!

Thanksgiving Weekend

This blog is going to be one of my longest. It will because of two things that I will be doing. I will explain what I did on my Thanksgiving break and then I will also tell you why I am grateful for certain people in my life. My thanksgiving break started with me going to Pocatello. On the 26th I went to see my friend Daylin's house that her and her husband just bought. I also had dinner with my aunt Vickie and uncle Wendell. We went to Sizzler.

On Thanksgiving Day my mom and I went to Idaho Falls to eat dinner with my aunt Callie and her family and my Grandpa and Grandma Clark. It was really good. Then we went over to see my cousin Misty's house. There were a lot of my family there. It was good to them. Then on the 28th I went to lunch with my mom, uncle Cole and my friend Esther. I was so excited to meet her son Mateus.

Her husband and daughter showed up as we were getting ready to leave.

Then the 29th I helped my mom decorate her house for Christmas.

Had family photos taken.

And spent time with my family.

And then I went to my cousin Richard's wedding reception.

Now "Why" am I grateful for certain people.
My mom- She is one of my best friends. We do a lot of the same things and we love doing them together. I have a lot of my looks that are the same as her. She amazes me with many things she does. And how many things she can do at once.
My sister (Brittney)- She is another one of my best friends. I am always excited to see her and just sit and have a conversations with. She is a wonderful mother to her children and I only hope that I can be as good as her when I become a mother. She always has a smile for me when I need one or when I don't need one.
My brother in-law (Casey)- He is a hard worker and does what he can for his family.
Trysten- always makes me feel like someone loves me. He likes to sing with me and play any games that I want to play.
Baylee- She helps me learn different ways to get children to laugh. It always seems to me that she is just playing a game with me and then she laughs.
My Grandma and Grandpa Clark- They are always willing to listen to me when I want to tell someone about school. They have a big heart when it comes to family.
Nana (Grandma Hill)- She always makes me feel like there is more to me than schooling. She is a very good person to have a conversations with.
Natalie- She is a friend that I meet this last summer. She always is there for me whenever or whereever I need her.
Charlene- She has been my best friend since fall 2003. She has always been there for me no matter what my problem is.
And everyone else that I have forgotten that has ever been my friend. Just because you are there for me and hang out with me. Thanks everyone in my life!!!

We played with her animals!

What you all have been waiting for....

T HE DATE!!!
THE DAY STARTED OUT THAT I WENT TO CLASS. IT DID NOT HIT ME THAT I HAD A DATE UNTIL I WAS EATTING LUNCH. AT 3:30 I DECIDED I BETTER START TO GET READY. HOWEVER, WITH SHOWERING,MAKE-UP,GETTING DRESS, AND BLOWING DRYING MY HAIR I WAS READY ABOUT A HALF HOUR BEFORE I NEEDED TO LEAVE.
SO I READ A LITTLE BIT IN A BOOK THAT I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO READ BUT I HAVE NOT HAD TIME. THEN MY FRIEND NATALIE SHOWED UP. WE TALKED FOR A LITTLE THEN HAD MY ROOMMATE HAYLEY TAKE A PICTURE OF US AND THEN WE WENT TO GET OUR DATES.

MY DATE: NAME: BRANDON TUFT. HE HAS TWO OLDER SISTERS AND TWO OLDER BROTHERS. SO YOU GUESSED IT HE IS THE BABY OF THE FAMILY. HE WENT ON HIS MISSION TO CALIFORNIA. WHERE FOR ONE YEAR HE SPOKE KORENAN AND THEN THE SECOND YEAR HE SPOKE ENGLISH. HE IS GOING INTO BUSINESS FINANCE. HIS DREAM IS TO BE A MANAGER OF A BANK. THIS IS HIS FIRST SEMEMSTER HERE AT USU AND HE IS GLAD HE CAME HERE. HIS FAVORITE SPORT TO WATCH OR PLAY IS SOCCER. HE IS FROM MURRY, UTAH AND HAS LIVED THERE ALL HIS LIFE. HE DRIVES BACK TO MURRY EVERY WEEKEND TO WERE HE WORKS PAINTING, RAKING LEAVES OR ANYTHING ELSE HIS BOSS HAS HIM DO. SO AFTER OUR DATE WAS OVER HE DROVE HOME. I HOPE HE MADE IT THERE SAFE. HE LIKES DRIVING AFTER MID-NIGHT HE SAYS BECAUSE THERE IS NOT A LOT OF TRAFFIC. HE WENT AS SUPER-MAN AND I WENT AS LOUIS LANE. THE DANCE WAS A SUPER HERO THEMED. WHEN I PICKED HIM UP HE WAS ALREADY STANDING OUT SIDE WAITING FOR ME. I FELT BAD ALMOST A LITTLE. HE IS A VERY LAY BACK KIND OF GUY.

WE WENT OVER TO MY FRIEND KESIA'S CHURCH WHERE WE ATE PIZZA,BREAD,SALAD FOR DINNER. MY ROOMMATE HAYLEY CAME OVER AND TOOK A PHOTO OF ALL THE COUPLES AND OF THE GROUP. I AM SO GLAD SHE DID. AND SHE DID A REALLY GOOD JOB.

THEN WE DROVE TO THE GAME. THERE WAS NO WHERE CLOSE TO PARK SO I DROPPED OFF MY FRIENDS NATALIE AND LYDIA AND THEIR DATES TO GO AND GET A SEAT. AND BRANDON AND I WENT AND PARKED AT THE INSTITUTE AND THEN WALKED TO THE GAME. WE SAT IN SECTION M ROW 14. I WAS SHOOKED AT HOW CLOSE WE WERE TO THE FLOOR. THE GAME WAS GOOD. BRANDON AND I THINK ABOUT THE SAME TO GAMES THAT WE WILL GO IF SOMEONE IS TO GO WITH BUT WE WON'T JUST GO BY OURSELVES AND JUST BY CHANCE THERE IS SOMEONE THERE WE KNOW. WE WON BY 21 POINTS!!! GO AGGIES!!! WHEN THE GAME WAS OVER WE WALKED BACK TO THE INSTITUTE WERE THE DANCE WAS BEING HELD. WE DANCED, HAD SOME PUNCH,TALKED, PLAYED GAMES, HE TAUGHT ME 2 DANCES (THAT AT THE MOMENT I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT THEY ARE CALLED). WHEN THE DANCE WAS OVER WE HELPED FOR A BIT ON CLEANING UP AND PUTTING THE DESKS BACK WERE THEY NEEDED TO BE AND THEN I TOOK HIM HOME. I TOLD HIM I HAD A GREAT TIME, AND TOLD HIM TO DRIVE CAREFULLY, HE GAVE ME A SIDE HUG AND I LEFT TO TAKE NATALIE HOME. IF ANYTHING I HAVE ANOTHER FRIEND. AND I LIKE THAT. IF HE ASKS I WOULD GO OUT WITH HIM AGAIN (IF ANY OF YOU WERE GOING TO ASK ME THAT QUESTION) SO THERE YOU GO! P.S. I DECIDED TO WEAR PANTS INSTEAD OF THAT SKIRT BECAUSE IT WAS MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE. EVERYONE HERE IN LOGAN SAID THAT I LOOKED GOOD NO MATTER WHAT. (FOR THOSE WHO WERE WONDERING WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SKIRT)

Veterans Day

So walking to class today I walk by this. All those little things on the ground are flags. And while sitting in my class listening to presentaions canons started shooting off. The first time they went off it scared everyone in my class including me. The other 12 times that they were shot off I was almost ready for them so I watched the others in my class. It was funny to see the different reactions. However, it was good to hear the canons go off so I could take some time and remember those I needed to remember. I hope sometime today you all take sometime to remember as well. Happy Veterans Day!!!

New Outfit!!!

So I have a date next Friday. It is a blind date. And it is the institute girl's ask guy dance. The Theme is "I need a HERO" so we have to dress up like a hero. So my date and I decided that he would be SUPERMAN and I would be Louis Lane. And because of this I thought it would be a good excuse to get a dressy outfit. So I thought I would see what everyone thought. I hope it is Louis Lane enough.

A Day Late:(

I am sorry for being a day late. But I wanted to wish you a happy November. I hope everyone is thinking about what they are doing for Thanksgiving and who they have to buy Christmas presents for. I know what I am doing for Thanksgiving so I have started to think about Christmas. As of two days ago I have gotten everyone's present thought of. Which means I know what I am getting everyone that I am getting a present for. I have my roommate Nikki, totally done. I have ordered my mom's I have half of my friend Natalie's gift. I know what I am getting my brother-in-law, sister, nephew, niece, and my other 2 roommates. By the end of this month I will have everyone's done and ready to give. I like to be a head of myself when it comes to Christmas. I don't like waiting till the last minute to get everyone's gift. So anyways I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving month.

Halloween Party

These are some fun photos that were taken at our party. It was October 25 from 7:30-12:30a.m. I had a wonderful time with my friends. I was a fairy. We played games called donut on a stick, and bit the bag. Then we carved pumpkins-- Natalie and I thought it would be fun to challenge ourselves so we pick trick-or-treat with 2 ghost. It was challenging but fun.

Baylee's Blessing

Trysten and I carved a pumkin. Well actually I carved and Trysten just watched
Brittney thought it would be funny to get him to put his hand in the pumkin and so she put it in for him.
However he was proud of his pumkin and wanted pictures with it.
Baylee was blessed and it was a very nice day. These were 6 of the guys that were in the circle for the blessing.
Me with my beautiful niece.
