Family Fun

So this last week I went home to help my mom with her office and with my neice and nephew while my sister and brother-in-law went to Boise. The first day that I got there my sister and I took the kids to Ross Park for some swimming time. I did not have my swimming suit but I still had a great time watching them swim and take pictures. My nephew was the little fish of the pool. He thought he was the funniest person around. Baylee just crawled around and Brittney would chase her.
Then we went to Applebee's for dinner. It was kids night! So there was a lady there that blew up balloons and made hates or sunglasses out of them. Trysten's hat was so big that we eventually had to take it off his head because it was hitting everyone in the head. And Baylee cried while the lady was blowing the balloons up. She was not impressed.

Saturday, my mom, Pat and I took Trysten and Baylee to the parade. They were so cute. Trysten loved every minute of it, but Baylee only liked a few things and there was a dog behind us that would bark and she would freeze up and wimper, but they were both really good kids.

So after we went to the parade and had lunch my mom and I got a babysister for the kids so we could go to my cousin's baby shower. I was so glad that we were able to go cause my Nana and my cousin Misty and Micheal were there and then Josh came later. Besides Karlie, Jermey, Kim, and Joyce that was all that I knew at the shower. Misty and Micheal drove their motorcycle down and Micheal took me on a ride. It was the first time I had ever been on one. It was not as scary as I thought it was. It was actually fun. Thanks Micheal taking me on a ride.

Then we went to Fred Myer and got a swimming suit for the kids and let Trysten swim in it.
Sunday, my friends April, Neil, Charlene, Blaine and their children came to see me. I had not seen April and Neil since their son was only a couple of months old, now he is almost 3. I was so glad that they were able to come and see me. It was good to see Charlene and Blaine too.
I had a really good week and weekend with my family and friends. Something I did not take pictures of was Thursday I went over to my friend Daylin's house and watched Twilight for the first time with her. It was actually very good. I did not think I would have liked it but it was better than I thought.
Well, this will be my last post till I get back from my trip. Three of my friends and I are going to Europe. I am leaving on the 29th and will be back on the 10th. When I get back I will have a lot of pictures and explain what we did. Everyone stay safe and keep up on your blogs while I am gone, I will be checking them when I get back.

Fourth of July Weekend

Wow! This is going to be probably my longest post and it is only about two days. Sorry! It started out July 3rd. My friend Dave called me and invited me to a barbeque that was night and then also invited me to go to Idaho Falls with a group. So after the barbeque, the whole group went back to my place to watch the fireworks. So the first three pictures are of that night.

Then at 4:30 Saturday morning I woke up to get ready to drive to Idaho. The plan was to take two cars to Pocatello and leave my car in Pocatello so I could stay at my mom's till Monday. But when we got to Pocatello the guys thought my car would be better to take because it was better. So we left Dave's car at my moms and all piled in it and went on to Idaho Falls for the parade. When we got there we meet up with Dean, whose family lives there so he was already up there.

We had heard that the parade started at 9 that is why we left so early (6:30) but it did not get to where we were until almost 10:30. I guess it was because we were at the end of the parade. After the parade was over we went over to the park and meet up with some more friends and had a barbeque. And I took a nap!

Then we went and meet up with Dean again to go swimming. I promised my friends that I would not put swimming on the internet but I am sure it will be okay that I just show one of the splashes. There is no one in the picture. But I think this is Jon's splash! But I am not 100% sure.

Then at the parade we got buy one get one free coupons so we went to Mrs. Powells and used some of them. Everyone but me got ice cream. I got a Slush Puppy.

Then we went to where Dean's family was saving a spot for us to watch the fireworks. It was so nice of them to go over as soon as the parade was over and get a spot. When we got there Natalie and I took a nap while the boys walked the green belt. When they got back they ate dinner and then they (boys) took a nap. Except for Dean. But Dean thought it would be funny to lay like they were and pretend like he was asleep. From left to right: Brady(on his back), Jon and Dave (on their stomachs) and then Dean (on his back).

So while the boys were taking a small 15 minutes ish nap Natalie and I walked down to the rest rooms. Now with this story I hope you can keep up with me. I had my camera so I did not want to take it in to the porter potties with me so Natalie went first. While she was in there I took the first pictures.

Then when Natalie came out I gave her my camera with out saying a word and while I was in there she took this next picture along with some others. Then I came out.

I asked her if she liked my picture I took and she showed me the ones she took. I said great minds think a like and then showed her what I took. We started to laugh. It was great. Then we went back and talked to the guys and Dean's family until the fireworks started.

They were great. It had been a while since I have seen the Idaho Falls show. But we all enjoyed it. When the firework show was over we all helped Dean's family clean up and we walked to Dean's car with him. To take things to his car and get some stuff out of his car. It was not that far to my car so we all piled in to Dean's car and started down then road. In the picture below you can't tell but I have someone sitting on my lap too. We did not get far before we had to stop cause of traffic. We sat there for some time and then decided it would be just as fast to walk to my car so Dave, Jon, Brady, Natalie and I got out and walked to my car. There was still a lot of traffic when we got back to the car. But after about a half hour we were able to get back in to my car and get back to Pocatello. I was very proud on Natalie. She stayed awake the whole way back to Pocatello and the boys fell asleep.

My friends are great. When we got back to my mom's they all helped clean out my car before they all piled in Dave's car and went back to Logan, while I stayed in Pocatello. I went with my mom to take her friend home and then we went back to my mom's house and went to bed. Natalie woke me up at 2:30 saying they were safely back to Logan. I am glad they let me know they made it back safe.
Sunday I went and saw my nephew. I had not seen him since before his surgery. He looked still out of it but he still wa able to give me a smile before I left. Then my mom and I went back to her house to work more on a project that she was working on. It was great to be able to see my family on the fourth as well as hang out with some wonderful friends. I hope everyone had a great fourth. And Happy Late Birthday to America!
