Making Cookies

On Sunday my roommate and I made Chocolate Chip cookies. It was fun and an adventures all at the same time. I have decided that making cookies is a lot like creating a testimony. With everything that is added in the cookies to make them great is just like all of the experiences that you have to go to through to get your testimony of life and the church. So this is what I am going to think about every time I make cookies. That I am just going through experiences that Heavenly Father needs me to go through in order to make it back to him.

Mellissa and Josh Jones

Yesterday was my friend Mellissa's Open house in Ogden. So since I was this close and I did not make it to her reception I decided that I would go. My friend Ember rode down with me. I appreciate her doing that. Mellissa looked so beautiful and happy.

I was glad that I was able to go and see her and meet her husband. They are moving to Kansas where Josh can start school. I think it is his masters or something. Good luck to both of them.

My 25th Birthday

Okay since I have been 25 for almost a week now I thought I would do a blog about what I did for my birthday and what I plan on doing for the rest of my life. So Wednesday the 16th I woke up at 10:30 wrote in my journal and read a little bit. Then I played on my computer and took a shower and got ready for the day. At 1:20 my roommates and I went to the movie Prince of Persia and surprisingly I liked it.

Then Nikki and Ben were coming into town for an art shower for Nikki so we went to dinner together and Morgan came too. We went to Sizzler. It was so good to see all of them.

Then I drove home and stayed at my Grandma Clark's house. It was great I got there at 10ish and my Grandma, Mom and I stayed up until midnight talking and laughing. Thursday morning I got up and went and got my hair highlighted and trimmed. I really like it however in some of the pictures my hair looks red but I got caramel highlights. For lunch my family, and friends Becky, Bonnie (Becky's mother) and Shantel went to lunch at Senior Iguanas. It was so good. This is where they gave me my gifts.

Then Becky, Bonnie, my mom and I went up to the cabin. We got up there around 6 watched When in Rome (one or the movies I got) and went to bed. Friday the 18th we went to Quake Lake and to Big Springs (my favorite place on the earth right now). We got eaten by the bugs but I still love it. That night we then watched another movie that I got for my birthday the Blindside. I have seen it so much I still love it. It is one of my favorites. If you have not seen it I defiantly recommend that you do.

Saturday we played game till 3 then drove into West Yellowstone. Got an old fashion picture taken and did a little shopping then ate at Pete's Pizza and went to the Play Mill. The play was Beauty and the Beast. It was good. My mom told one of the performers that we were celebrating my birthday so when they sang the birthday song he took my on stage and sang to me. As you can tell by the picture below he also kissed me on the cheek.

Sunday we got up and cleaned the cabin, took some pictures and headed back to Pocatello for church.

After church we went to see my Nana who is in a assistant living center. To me she looks worse than the last time I saw her but to my mom she looks better. So take my mom's word because she has seen her more than I have where I live in Logan and she lives in Pocatello. Then we went to my father's grave and I had time to sit and think. I still don't really know what I am going to do the rest of my life but I do know that I have things I am thinking about doing.

Then we went home and had family dinner. Becky and I went to see our friends Cyndal and Matt and then my friend Natalie and her husband William(they are the ones in the last post that I did) called and said that they want to say hello on their way to their house in Idaho. It is toward Salem. I asked if they were going to stay in Pocatello for the night or just come say hello and leave again. They said they were going to try and get a hotel in Pocatello. I told them that if they wanted they were more than welcome to stay at my mom's house. So they did! It was so good to see them. We had good conversation that night before they decided that they would go to bed because they needed to get up and get home before lunch time. Thanks for stopping Natalie and William.

Becky and Bonnie stayed at our house too. So after Natalie and William went to bed Becky, Bonnie, my mom and I stayed up for another couple of hours talking. It was good I think. LOL!!! Thanks for coming Becky and Bonnie. Monday everyone got up around 7 I talked to Natalie and William while they ate breakfast and then got them out the door to head home. Then I talked to Becky while she was waiting for her mom to get ready and we said goodbye to my mom since she had to get off to work. Then I sent Becky and Bonnie off toward their homes. I then packed and got ready for the day. At 10 I went to my nephews T-Ball game and then my sister and I went to lunch and I came back to Logan. So that was what I did the day of and week of my birthday.

I did a lot and I loved every minute of it. So since I am 25 here I 25 things that want to do or have done and want to do again.
1- want-to visit the 50 states
2-want again-to go to London

Natalie and William

June 11th I went to Salt Lake to spend time with Lydia. Lydia had a friend that had a friend who had a cabin so we went to the cabin for a night. They wanted us to use sleeping bags but Lydia did not bring any so we found 2 and mine ended up being a child's but I made it work. It was interesting how I made it work but I did. The cabin is a Narnia themed cabin. Every room had a name above the door such as eagles, dwarfs, lion, fauns, etc.

Saturday morning Lydia and I drove to Manti to go to Natalie and William wedding and reception. On the way we drove past a marathon. Lydia and I rolled down our window and cheered while they ran, or walked and while we drove.

Like I said before Natalie and William got married in Manti at the temple there. Lydia and I got there about 15 minutes before they came out of the temple.

During the pictures that we took outside the temple we got rained on. And when the group got on the stairs for the group picture it started to pour. So when that picture was done we all ran for our cars to go to the luncheon.

The last time I got a picture taken with this little boy he cried so he was happy with me so I got another picture taken. The little boy's name is Jack. He is Natalie's nephew.

After the luncheon we went over to the Olsen's to decorate for the reception. The rain had stopped. So they did what they had planned to have it outside. The rain started up again when the reception had about an hour left. So we moved everything inside and the line stood outside on the front porch. They seemed happy though. It was so fun to see them happy. I am so happy for them. Good luck to the both of you. Mr and Mrs Porter!!!

Rachel Belle Nelsen

This blog is to just tell my friends Emily and Adam how happy I am for them to have brought a beautiful daughter into their lives. As you can see by the title of this blog they named her Rachel Belle Nelsen. Emily has always loved the name Rachel and Belle came from Adam's grandma Isabelle who was called Belle all of her life. Rachel was born May 18th. However I did not meet her till the 29th. These are pictures of when I went to meet her. If you notice that we are all in hot pink just now we did not plan that but it was funny that when I walked in we were all wearing the same color. The family picture of Emily's family I took off their computer screen.
