A lot has happened

So since I have been home from my wonderful trip to Europe I have been busy non-stop. The first thing that happened was Thursday when I got home I drove back south to South Jordan to the first Abish(IWA) reunion. It was small but it was fun to see some of the girls that were in it my first year and meet some of the girls that were in Abish before I entered.

Then Friday, I drove to Preston where my good friends Cyndal and Matt Noble had there reception. I am so happy for them. It was so good to see Matt since he was home from his mission and he had found one of the sweetest girls I know who has been such a good friend to me as well.

Then after the reception I drove to Pocatello where I stayed at my mom for a week. Saturday I woke up and did some work at my mom's house and then my whole family went to my cousin Josh and Brandi's baby shower. They are my cousins on my dad's side and they are having a little boy. We are all so excited because Josh is the only one of my cousins that can carry on the Hill last name for our family. It was so good to see them.

Also at the shower I meet my cousin Karlie's baby Kaydence (I think that is how they are spelling her name). She is a sweet baby. Karlie is Josh's sister. I was so glad that I was able to go to the shower and support my family. I think family should do that. SUPPORT each other.

After Josh and Brandi's Shower my mom and I went to BJ and Jessica Farnes's wedding reception. It was so good to see them happy. I was in the same grade as BJ and I even went on a date with him. But I am glad that he found Jessica.

Through out the next week I need more work for my mom and hung out with my family. One day I think it was Monday my mom and I took my neice and nephew to a park by my grandma hill's house and they loved it. My mom and I loved watching them play.

Also through out the week I go together with my Grandma Hill and typed up her history while she talked. It was good to learn about her when she was younger and thing that happened to her. Friday the 21 I went to my third wedding reception in a week. It was Britney Nielsen's. She married someone she meet at BYUI. I can't believe that she is married. She cheered with my sister on a community squad and I always thought she was to little to get married. But I am glad that she is happy.

On Saturday, August 22,2009 my sister had a birthday party for my neice. She turned the big 1!!! I can not believe that I have a 1 year old neice and a 3 year old nephew. Life is crazy sometimes.

Then last night after the party I drove to Smithfield where all of us in the Abish chapter of IWA got together to plan the activities for our chapter. We got a lot accomplished is only 3.5 hours. I was glad that it got done in a short amount of time. I think we will have a good semester. At least I hope so.

Well that is all that has happened in this last week. Now I must get ready for my next EVENTURE!!! SCHOOL. I start tomorrow and I pray I do good in ALL of my classes. So please keep me in your prayers to get through at least the first week.

Adventure

I did a lot during this adventure. The very first thing that I did was to meet in Layton to see my family, my cousins Jaclyn and Courtenay and her mom and their grandma. It was so fun to see them before I went on more of my adventure.

Then I went to my friend Mellissa's house where I meet her nephew Caleb.

Then Mellissa, Shawn, Melissa and I went to the airport. To go to Houston we had to go to B5. At the end of our adventure in Europe and we came back to Salt Lake I looked up and we were at B5 again. We made a complete cirlce.

When we got to London we all had to go to the bathroom and to flush the toliet we had to wave our hand and this that was above the wall.

Then we got in a taxi. It was weird to be riding on the other side of the road while going to the hotel.

The picture below is what we got when we got to our room at the hotel. I did not think that we would get good sleep so we got another room.

Then we went sight seeing so we could get on there time zone. The pictures below are things that we say there during our three days in London.

Westminster Abby
London Bridge
Went to a play that is like broadway. It was amazing! The lead is from the states.
rode a train to the Windsor Castle
The back of the Widsor Castle. We got to see the queen's garden where they only open 3 or 4 days out of the year.
Then when we left London to go to Rome and then on to Venice we got bumped up to Business Class and we got a free breakfast that was really good. The picture below is where I sat. The seat on the left is where I sat and then the small center seat and then someone was on the other side of the center seat. I thought it was so funny looking at how small the center seat was.

When we got to Venice we could not find our suit cases. So we got in line to tell the lost and found people. When we got up to the desk they asked us if we came from Rome and we told them yes and they said that so many people were in our same boat that the next flight from Rome was already on its way so wait 15 minutes and our stuff will be here.

Our first stop on the cruise was Bari, Italy. It was fun to see the town.

Each place that we went to had a castle there.
The school entrance for Bari.

The emergency drill.

A fun picture of Mellissa.

Our next stop was Greece. Where we stopped was 30 minutes from Olymipa so we rented a car and drove to Olymipa to see where the first olympics were and a museum of statues of the Gods.
The first olympic track.
First captain's night on the ship.

The next stop was Izmir, Turkey

We saw mosques everywhere and when we went in we had to take off our shoes.
Fun time in the pool!

Me with our waiters: Benje and Mario.

Istanbul, Turkey
Blue Mosque-biggest mosque in Turkey.
A women's prison that is now a resturant and and a jewelery store.
Looking over to the Asia side of Turkey.

Looking over to the Europe side of Turkey.

We played Guess Who while we were on the ship for a day.

On the second captain's night Carlos (who sat two tables down from us) gave each of us girls a origami that he made. He is from Italy and was there with his family.

Our last stop was Croasia and we had to take a tender boat to land. So we had to wait for our number to be called.
After Croasia we got back to Venice, then we went to the airport to catch a flight to Rome then to London. When we got to London we went to the wrong hotel. When we finally got to the right hotel we all went to sleep. When Melissa and Mellissa got up they wanted to shower and blow dry their hair but this is what they had to do in order to do that. Dang international plug ins.

In London instead of a just a yeild sign their yeild sign says "Give Way" on it.

After we left the hotel in London we went to the airport, sat for 1.5 hours to catch the 10 hour flight to Houston. When we got to Houston we had 4.5 hours till we got on a 3 hour flight back to Salt Lake. We got back to Salt Lake at 11:45p.m. Got back to Mellissa's house after midnight. Went straight to bed. However, non of us slept very well so we all got up shortly after 7 in the morning and Shawn and I got on the road to home. It was a wonderful adventure and I am totally glad I had a chance to go. Thank you for everyone who help it possible for me to go. Love you mom mostly.
