Adventure

I did a lot during this adventure. The very first thing that I did was to meet in Layton to see my family, my cousins Jaclyn and Courtenay and her mom and their grandma. It was so fun to see them before I went on more of my adventure.

Then I went to my friend Mellissa's house where I meet her nephew Caleb.

Then Mellissa, Shawn, Melissa and I went to the airport. To go to Houston we had to go to B5. At the end of our adventure in Europe and we came back to Salt Lake I looked up and we were at B5 again. We made a complete cirlce.

When we got to London we all had to go to the bathroom and to flush the toliet we had to wave our hand and this that was above the wall.

Then we got in a taxi. It was weird to be riding on the other side of the road while going to the hotel.

The picture below is what we got when we got to our room at the hotel. I did not think that we would get good sleep so we got another room.

Then we went sight seeing so we could get on there time zone. The pictures below are things that we say there during our three days in London.

Westminster Abby
London Bridge
Went to a play that is like broadway. It was amazing! The lead is from the states.
rode a train to the Windsor Castle
The back of the Widsor Castle. We got to see the queen's garden where they only open 3 or 4 days out of the year.
Then when we left London to go to Rome and then on to Venice we got bumped up to Business Class and we got a free breakfast that was really good. The picture below is where I sat. The seat on the left is where I sat and then the small center seat and then someone was on the other side of the center seat. I thought it was so funny looking at how small the center seat was.

When we got to Venice we could not find our suit cases. So we got in line to tell the lost and found people. When we got up to the desk they asked us if we came from Rome and we told them yes and they said that so many people were in our same boat that the next flight from Rome was already on its way so wait 15 minutes and our stuff will be here.

Our first stop on the cruise was Bari, Italy. It was fun to see the town.

Each place that we went to had a castle there.
The school entrance for Bari.

The emergency drill.

A fun picture of Mellissa.

Our next stop was Greece. Where we stopped was 30 minutes from Olymipa so we rented a car and drove to Olymipa to see where the first olympics were and a museum of statues of the Gods.
The first olympic track.
First captain's night on the ship.

The next stop was Izmir, Turkey

We saw mosques everywhere and when we went in we had to take off our shoes.
Fun time in the pool!

Me with our waiters: Benje and Mario.

Istanbul, Turkey
Blue Mosque-biggest mosque in Turkey.
A women's prison that is now a resturant and and a jewelery store.
Looking over to the Asia side of Turkey.

Looking over to the Europe side of Turkey.

We played Guess Who while we were on the ship for a day.

On the second captain's night Carlos (who sat two tables down from us) gave each of us girls a origami that he made. He is from Italy and was there with his family.

Our last stop was Croasia and we had to take a tender boat to land. So we had to wait for our number to be called.
After Croasia we got back to Venice, then we went to the airport to catch a flight to Rome then to London. When we got to London we went to the wrong hotel. When we finally got to the right hotel we all went to sleep. When Melissa and Mellissa got up they wanted to shower and blow dry their hair but this is what they had to do in order to do that. Dang international plug ins.

In London instead of a just a yeild sign their yeild sign says "Give Way" on it.

After we left the hotel in London we went to the airport, sat for 1.5 hours to catch the 10 hour flight to Houston. When we got to Houston we had 4.5 hours till we got on a 3 hour flight back to Salt Lake. We got back to Salt Lake at 11:45p.m. Got back to Mellissa's house after midnight. Went straight to bed. However, non of us slept very well so we all got up shortly after 7 in the morning and Shawn and I got on the road to home. It was a wonderful adventure and I am totally glad I had a chance to go. Thank you for everyone who help it possible for me to go. Love you mom mostly.
