What I am thankful for

I know I should have done this two days ago, but here are my top 8 things of what I am thankful for:

1- MY FAMILY- I have a mother, sister, neice, nephew, and brother in-law and I am so glad that we are close and that we are there for each other when ever we need each other. My mom and sister and my best friends and they come first when it comes to deciding what I do in my life.

2- MY EXTENDED FAMILY- I have many cousins, 4 aunts and 6 uncles and even though we are not close as I wish we were I have learned from each of them how to act and how not to act. I have also learned what should be important in life and what does not matter. They are also part of who I am and I am grateful for them.

3- MY FRIENDS- Besides my family, I have best friends that are wonderful people. Autumn Cutting is my best friend from pre-school. We don't talk much but when we do and what I read on her blog I know that she is a wonderful person and I remember the fun times we had together in pre-school. April Wheeler and Rachel Willey are my best friends from elementary school. I don't talk to either one of them much either but they were there for me in elementary years and I thank them for that. Krystal Johansen-Martin is my best friend from Junior High. I talk to her ever now and again and I get to see her and her son this Christmas holiday. I am so excited. There were things that I went through in high school and she and my family were my cruches through them. I am so grateful for them for all they did. I am so glad that Krystal and I still talk to each other. Because of her I am who I am today. Esther Robles Allmond is my best friend from High School. I don't talk to her as much as I would like to but when I do talk to her I can tell that she is there if I need her. I can call her anytime and she will be there. Thanks Esther. Charlene Bradley is my best friend from my first year of college. If it was not for her I would not be active in my church and I would not be so confident in myself. I can get her help for anything. I hope she knows that I love her and I am glad we are still in contact with each other. Daylin Warrick Finch is my best friend from my second year of college. We were roommates for three years and she was there for me no matter if it was just that I hated my paper or one of my assignments. I am glad that she and I are still in contact with each other. She always has a smile for me. Thank you Daylin! Sara Lee Earl is my best friend from my third year of college. I am so glad that she is my friend. I don't talk to her as much as I would like to. She would always do things with me. Becky Miller is my best friend from my fourth year of college. She would help my self-esteem up every time I am with her. Emily Erickson Nelsen is my best friend from my fifth year of college. She was there for me when I first moved to Logan. I thought I was going to be alone but she was there and made me happy. I am so thankful for her. Natalie Olsen is my best friend from my sixth year of college. She is always there for me even if it is just someone to talk on the phone to. She was there to pick me up once Emily got married. When Emily got married I thought I was going to be alone again but Natalie was there for me. Thank you! Nikki Pettitt is my best friend from this year of college. This is my second year being her roommate and when we get together we have so much fun and we laugh so hard. It is so fun to be with her. All of these friends are there for me when I need it and I am so grateful for them.

4-MY SCHOOLING- I have been in school since I was like 5 years old. I have learned so much and I am so grateful to learning. I think I would not be the person I am if it was not for all of the learning I have in my life.

5-MY CHURCH/BELIEFS- Growing up I was not that active in the LDS church. I was mad at it for taking my dad when I was young. However, I know that it is not the church's or God's fault that my dad is gone. From my first year of college, I have become more active and because of that my beliefs are becoming stronger. This is the number one reason for who I am.

6-ORGANIZATION- being organizied is the most important thing to me. For those who know me know that if I am not organizied it bothers me more than anything. When I am organizied I am happier.

7- ILLNESS- Believe it or not I am grateful for my illness. I have had a illness since I was in 9th grade and I have had another illness for about 6-9 months and they have taught me not to be so stressed. I learned that being healthy is really important. I am so grateful to God that he felt that I need this trial in my life.

8-TRIALS- I have had many trails in my life. More trails than my dad not being here or my illnesses but all the trials that I have had, am having and will have through my life, in the last year I have learned and started to believe that they are for a reason. That reason will be known to us soon or never or it might just be that we have to learn something.

ALL OF THESE THINGS AND MUCH MORE IS WHAT I AM THANKFUL FOR THIS YEAR. I HOPE YOU ALL HAD A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY AND I HOPE THAT YOU ALL WILL HAVE A GOOD CHRISTMAS. I KNOW I SAID I WILL DO ANOTHER POST OF PICTURES AND I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN. I WILL DO THAT SOON! LOVE YOU ALL FOR READING THIS.

  1. That was a very sweet post Natasha, I'm grateful to you too. I admire that you even put that you are grateful for your trials- that's a hard one for me. Looking back, I can say the same, they give me perspective and understanding, but it's harder to be in the middle of a trial and recognize it as a blessing from our Heavenly father that will help us to be stronger. Thanks for the reminder!
