my trip home, 2 baby showers, random pictures, and the first snow of the season.

So a lot is going on but I wanted to show you some pictures of things that have been going on. The 22-24 I went to Pocatello to give my sister her birthday present a week late and to help my mom and sister give a friend a baby shower. Then after the games at Maria's baby shower I left and drove to Malad to go to my friend Cherhys's baby shower. It was good to see her. Then Sunday the 25th my roommates and I had some guy friends over for dinner. They said it was good. Then yesturday the first snow came. It was a blizzard. The picture of the snow was taken today the day after the storm.

My roommates are excited for Halloween can you tell?

Side note- I have done a lot just today. Today at 1, I had an appointment with my advisor to decide what I have to take next semester. So I went and we found out that the college still thought I was a Elementary Education major not a Liberal Arts major. So I got a sheet to fill out as well as we found out that if everything goes as planned I will be graduating in May so I got another sheet to fill out. Then to do everything today so I did not forget I ran over to the Eled department to get them to fill out a part of the changing major paper, then I ran over to turn in the two forms into the register and then I went to the computer lab and registered for the class that my advisor and I had decided. So I had officially changed majors, turned in my requested to graduate form and registered in a matter of 45 minutes. Needless to say I got my exercise for the day. Well there is a lot of updating but I hope you all liked it. Love you all!

Tonight for IWA my group went to the Logan temple to do baptisms. It was amazing! I was suppose to be baptised first and then confirmed. When I got to the confirmation room they did not have any more name but they had more baptisms that had to be done, so I was dry but I went back into the baptismal font. It was great! I loved it!

October 17-19,2009(long post I am sorry)

So as the title says this is going to be a long post. Sorry! Also it says this is about October 17-19,2009. So I will just get start with October 17: Logan has been having weird weather and I was getting cold so I asked my mother to bring down my winter clothing. She did not want to come by herself so my nephew Trysten and one of her neighbor kids, Taylor came down with her. It was so fun to see them. I am so glad that she did not have to drive that drive by herself. I know how it is to do that. I do it almost every time I go home. But back to when they got here. I did not know that Taylor was with me, my mom just said that she brought something heavy down to me and it was on the drivers side and then when she got there I went to get it and Taylor jump out from under a coat. It startled me. They came into my apartment, we talk, looked at some things on my computer, as you can see from the first few pictures Trysten played with some sun glasses.

Then we asked Trysten what he wanted to do. He said golfing! So we went but is kind of not a good idea, because the mini golf course was decorated and some of the things like: the ghosts, skeletons, and vampires, scared him and my mom or I ended up caring him most of the way through the course. But there were some holes where Trysten would play golf but Taylor, my mom and I had to go and touch certain things or stand in front fo certain things for him to keep moving. I thought it was funny and sad all at the same time.

After we finished golfing we went over to a park to make Trysten happy again and he loved it. Taylor and Trysten were the only kids in that park so they could run everywhere and have a great time.

Then my mom took us to Cafe Sabor for dinner and then on the way back to my place we drove past the temple. I love it!

We got back to my place, talk for a little bit and then my mom, Trysten, and Taylor took off back to Pocatello and I went back to my apartment so I could watch a movie with my friend, Natalie.

October 18: Morgan(my roommate) and I had a great day a church. The lessons were great. When Natalie was at my house the night before she asked Morgan and I to a picnic with her and some others Sunday afternoon. So we went. It was up at Second Damn in Logan. The leaves were awesome and there was a bridge and I just love bridges so I asked Morgan to take pictures of me and the bridges. Then Morgan and I decided to go back and get the other to go over the bridge and walk down the path. It was just so pretty. The next pictures are my favorite ones that Morgan took during our nature walk.


After the nature walk Morgan and decided to go drive around some more and so we went to the bull that is on campus and took pictures there.

So that is what happened on Sunday.

Then Monday, I took a Spanish exam and then I went to my insitute class. During it I remember that last week my teacher encouraged us to Thank everyone that has been a example to us and then ask them to do the same so here is my list of people that I want to thank:

This is a post to wish my sister a Happy Birthday. 23 years ago today, she came into this world and my life has never been the same. Because I am not good and talking out loud and because of Elder Bednar's talk in the first session of conference here is my testimony:

I believe that family is the number one thing that gets us to be happy. We must tell our family that we love them and mean is as well as show it. I know that President Monsen is the true living prophet and President Joseph Smith was the first prophet that brought us the scriptures. I believe that if we sincerely pray we will be answered. The answer might not be what we want but it is what we need. I believe that if I do what I need to I will be able to see my father and other family members that died before me again. I know that the scriptures were translated by Joseph Smith with the help of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I know that through the atonement many things are true. I know that I love my mom and sister. They are my best friend and I hope they know that everything I do is with them in mind. I love my cousins, aunts and uncles. I wish we did more and we like each other more but I do love them with all my heart. I love my grandparents. Both sets of my grandparents are wonderful people and I love them with all my heart as well. I know that with help from our family and friends that we can live the commandments and we will make it to the celestial kingdom. I also know that when we see Christ and Heavenly Father it will be in that moment that we will know for sure that we did the right thing is following them. That is my testimony, it is short but it is true. I love you all and hope that you all know that. :) Smile everyday!!!
